P. David Berez, Post Office Editorial.
P. David Berez is a Producer/Director/Editor/ of more than three hundred video, film and multimedia projects for broadcast, corporate and non-profit clients. He is the owner and Senior Producer of Post Office Editorial, a film production company based in Camden, Maine.
David has written, directed and edited promotional and image films for corporate clients including Pfizer Corp., LL Bean, Fidelity Investments, News Corporation, HarperCollins, Fortis Insurance,and the New York Stock Exchange. His broadcast work includes documentary programming for Animal Planet, Discovery, the History Channel and PBS. His film “Wounded in Action” was a staple of PBS Memorial Day and Veterans Day programming. Post Office Editorial won a coveted CLIO award for “Moving Stories/Moving Pictures” a sprawling multimedia history project for the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons that included his filming in the combat support hospitals in Iraq. As principal editor for his company, David has edited hundreds of programs for his own clients as well as other independent producers. Recently concluded work includes a documentary about Lowell Thomas’s 1949 trip to Tibet and multiple short films for the US Dept. of Transportation on autonomous vehicles.
David has shot extensively in hospital and healthcare settings, producing surgical training films, patient care programming, public service announcements and marketing and outreach materials. He has written and produced numerous scripts for healthcare clients including the production of two coffee table books, one underwritten by Pfizer and is currently at work on a legacy book about flight nursing.
David is a five tool professional having conceived, directed, written, filmed and edited everything from spots to features to multi screen live event programming.
David resides in Camden with his wife, three daughters and son when he isn’t out paddling, hiking or climbing in places afar.
